SPRING EDITION LINCOLNSHIRE WEDDING FAIR

Welcome to our Spring Edtion Lincolnshire Wedding Fair hosted by Healing Manor. When we think of creating a wedding fair, we imagine the excitement of you, your partner and your loved ones seeing new ideas being brought to life. The look of wonder on your faces and the joy it brings to know we’ve played a part in inspiring ideas for your wedding day. The theme for our Spring Edition Lincolnshire Wedding Fair was ‘In Bloom’. Let us show you around!

LINCOLNSHIRE WEDDING FAIR

Hosted by Healing Manor

Lincolnshire Weddings teamed up with Christopher Waud Photography to capture the Lincolnshire Wedding Fair.

THE VENUE

Healing Manor Hotel is a beautiful 37 bedroom manor house, located on the outskirts of Grimsby and on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Renowned for being one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Lincolnshire and having recently undergone a transformation, the former residents of the Portman family, Healing Manor Hotel now boasts two large function rooms with unique styles, 36 acres of beautiful gardens and idyllic backdrops, ideal for capturing those special wedding day memories.

THE BARN

We love creating amazing spaces for you to explore. Amongst an array of suppliers, we treat you to our ‘In Bloom’ Head Table and Dining Showcase. Brought to you by the talented Brush & Pen, Exquisite Style and The Enchanted Garden.

The attention to detail from our members will forever be etched in our minds. The colours and textures worked impeccably with the theme and captured the imaginations of our guests.

Guests reaching the magnificent Chapel end of Healing Manor’s Barn were greeted by a beautifully styled wedding aisle where a Bridal Catwalk took place by Coates Couture.

Our Catwalk was sponsored by Ambience Lincolnshire, Seaholly Floral Design and Raspberry Rose Designs who worked side by side to create the dreamiest aisle, helping you envision what your wedding day could look like.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

A dream of mine has been to create watercolour wedding stationery to display and exhibit on a large scale, so when I was asked to help dress the aisle of the barn with my stationery, I jumped at the chance.

‘In bloom’ was the brief, which couldn’t be more perfect for my signature style. At the entrance of the aisle, guests were greeted with small signs to welcome them to the ceremony space. These were handmade and painted with blush pink tones which is one of our key colours.

As you walk down the aisle space, I added small tags which hung on the end of the chair rows. Each tag had a watercolour floral design on it and a love quote or personalised wording. I wanted to try and bring a little extra personality to this often-forgotten area.

Reaching the end of the aisle you are met with a stunning natural floral centrepiece which was also the entrance of the catwalk. Either side of this, I hung large signs with a mix of pastel watercolour flowers dominating the signs bringing our vision of ‘love in full bloom’ to life.

THE CATWALK

We had the best time producing a bridal catwalk show for this year’s Lincolnshire Wedding Fair. Back in January when we started to plan our show, we wanted to pull out all of the stops and showcase everything that we are about at Coates Couture. For us this meant, showcasing all styles and a variety of dresses on ALL different body sizes (Dress modelled we’re sizes 8-26). We wanted the catwalk to look just as beautiful as what our studio does. Finally, we wanted the audience to see the bond that our team has together and to realise that you become part of the family when you visit CC.

The theme ‘In Bloom’ couldn’t have been more perfect for our catwalk. We featured our brand new ‘Bloom’ collection from one of our designers Madi Lane. With lots of floral lace and Blush tones, these dresses were show-stopping against our clean and classic backdrop on the catwalk. We also featured dresses from some of our other designers; Sophia Tolli and Randy Fenoli. These collections presented lots of statement trains, traditional ball gowns and the audience’s favourite, wait for it… detachable trains and pockets!!!

We had so much excellent feedback from our show (the kind you only dream of). However, we couldn’t have done it without some very special people. I personally would like to give thanks to my incredible team, our CC models, and the incredible suppliers that helped style our catwalk. A show like this was definitely a team effort and what a team/family we have!

THE LAWN

This year we welcomed outdoor suppliers Oh Snap UK, Studio 7 creative, The Modern Castle and White 7 Lincoln to our Lincolnshire Wedding Fair. Found beside the Barn, overlooking Healing Manor’s Bridal Suite where the doors were open for you to explore. These suppliers really made the fair extra special!

IN THE DRIVING SEAT

The Spring Edition Lincolnshire Wedding Fair was White 7 Lincoln’s first collaboration with Lisa and Lincolnshire Weddings. Healing Manor has always been on my list to showcase the wedding car so I was keen to grab the opportunity to do so in the Spring. The chance to meet the many wedding suppliers unknown to me and to be at a new venue outside of Lincoln was the highlight for me.

THE HAIR

I had the pleasure of creating some beautiful bridal hairstyles on the lovely catwalk models! It was brilliant being able to showcase some gorgeous styles that hopefully helped brides have a better idea for their own wedding day. Having the chance to speak to brides in person again was amazing, you can learn so much more about their day and about them when you can chat face-to-face which is perfect to help me personalise their service on their wedding day. If you still need to book your wedding hair, or you are interested in any other treatments such as lash extensions and brow treatments, then just visit our booking site where you will find all our contact details and you can also book in if you’d like!

THE MAKEUP

We were so lucky to have LC Makeup Artistry and Millie Makeup Artist on hand to work alongside Mirror Mirror Cleethorpes to create beautiful bridal makeup for the Coates Couture models.

Our shows are a team effort, replicating exactly what is needed on your wedding day! All our key suppliers did a fantastic job of working together to ensure everyone was ready on time, and that the models felt confident. It’s safe to say our CC girls looked picture perfect for the show!

THE CADOGAN SUITE

The Cadogan Suite was a be a buzz of activity with suppliers from across Lincolnshire showcasing their work. You could find the majestic 2 of Harps performing here on the day. Brilliant Travel by Tracy Clark brought a new and exciting experience to our Lincolnshire Wedding Fair with their pop-up travel consultation area to help create your dream honeymoon!
