THE PHOTOGRAPHER

It is with great thanks to James Thundercliffe Photography that we are featuring this amazing bridal shoot on our blog! James Thundecliffe Photography are a husband and wife photography team based in Lincolnshire specialising in natural and relaxed wedding photography.

James and Charlotte have been shooting weddings since 2015 and believe that having a calm, relaxed and unobtrusive photographer helps you to feel at ease in front of the lens. Their style of photography certainly helped put models Sarah and Ben at ease, helping them to capture the most beautiful images from this imaginative and brilliantly bespoke bridal shoot.

THE DRESSES

We are in complete admiration of Caroline Chamberlain Couture’s work, which makes this blog very special to write. Caroline’s clients can choose from her in-house collections or choose a completely bespoke service and have a unique gown designed and handmade specifically for them, ensuring a complete one-off piece. All gowns are personally handmade by Caroline in the Vale House studio, with initial sketches, patterns and toiles cut for each client, ensuring a perfect fit every time. The Bridal Studio is also privileged to be a stockist of Bird and Bone hand painted jackets, which we are delighted to feature for you in this blog.

Caroline Chamberlain Couture’s first gown is called Marcella. A heavy weight crepe satin Bridal Gown with strappy bodice, slim fitting skirt flowing into a train at the back. The dress is complemented with a corded lace cape with diamanté brooch fastening. The second is a two piece wedding gown called Delilah, a pure silk bias cut camisole top with a gathered polka dot skirt with frill hem. Both handmade by Caroline and showcased brilliantly by model Sarah Lowe!

THE FLOWERS

We are excited to introduce to you Effie’s Floral Design, a Lincolnshire-based florist specialising in weddings and events. Her floral creations complimented the day perfectly. An array of flowers were used to create this shoot which included Quicksand Roses, Dorchester Roses, Avalanche Roses, Hera Roses, Dill/ammi, Eucalyptus, Stocks, Lisianthus and Pampas Grass! We particularly love the floral centrepiece which stands in pride of place, catching everyone’s eye!

THE STYLING

Vickie, and together with her husband, Andy, make up the wonderful Sage and Belle Styling. With over 12 years of experience in wedding decor and venue dressing, they’ve styled a lot of weddings, so they definitely know their stuff and boy does it show here! The styling seamlessly fitted together with the venue and vibe of the day. Sage and Belle Styling go through all of your ideas to help you work out exactly what your vision is, and create the perfect, personalised styling plan to give you the decor of your dreams!
