CELEBRANT-LED WEDDING CEREMONIES
Welcome to our Wedding Celebrant page. Our members serve couples from across Lincolnshire, making it easier than ever to find your perfect wedding supplier.
William and Jenny are a husband and wife team, actively engaging as Wedding Celebrants. The beauty of a Celebrant led ceremony is that you are not restricted by legislation or law, therefore working together, couples can have a bespoke ceremony incorporating any customs or elements they want.
‘After all, it’s your day, so it should be your way’
William and Jenny are both trained by the UK Society of Celebrants ( UKSOC ).
Our wedding celebrants are available to couples across Lincolnshire. Offering alternative options to religious or civil ceremonies. Celebrant-led weddings offer couples a personal and flexible wedding that is as formal as you’d like to make it. Our celebrants are handpicked for their reputation. Offering a unique experience for your wedding day and making it truly magical.
Couples seeking a less “red-tape” wedding would suit a celebrant-led wedding. The ability to marry anywhere that wins your heart, even your own home, is a great option for couples looking for a unique, intimate or smaller experience for their wedding day.
WHAT IS A WEDDING CELEBRANT?
A celebrant is an alternative option available for couples when it comes to marrying. Traditionally, couples opt between a religious ceremony or a civil ceremony with a registrar. But an increasingly popular option for modern marriages is to be wed by a celebrant. Celebrants are not limited to licensed venues, meaning you can marry anywhere you fall in love with. With current COVID restrictions capping weddings at limited numbers, many couples have chosen intimate micro weddings with a celebrant and their closest loved ones.
IS A CELEBRANT-LED WEDDING LEGAL?
A celebrant-led wedding ceremony is not legally binding. But it is an opportunity for couples to declare their love for one another in a setting of their own choosing. A symbolic act and exchange of rings can still happen at a celebrant wedding, but it would be the couples own choice. Couples wishing to be legally married would need to sign the register at a registry office before or after the celebrant-led wedding.
Speak to your chosen celebrant early, typically 12 to 24 months prior to your wedding date. But be aware that a celebrant is unlikely to book more than one wedding in a day, making their availability much more limited. They will take their time to get to know you both as a couple to ensure they give you the magical and unique experience you’re seeking.
