Lincolnshire Wedding Fair Home Lincoln

Blog, Lincolnshire Wedding Fair

We couldn’t think of anything more special to launch on our new website!

Home Lincoln hosted our exclusive Lincolnshire Wedding Fair late Autumn last year. Our brands came together to create something new and exciting for couples across Lincolnshire.

A traditional wedding fair was not the order of the day, we wanted to showcase to you how a wedding can most definitely be as unique as you are! Why wouldn’t you want fire breathers at the entrance of your evening reception to welcome your guests? When is it not worth taking a chance on your wedding day to showcase your personalities perfectly? So we hope this inspires you to be brave and break the mould!

Home Lincoln gave us the scope to create a Lincolnshire Wedding Fair that would be like no other. Offering huge space, utilising three floors and with each room having its own theme.

Home is one of, if not the largest night clubs in our County and turning this venue into a wedding fair in less than 8 hours was no mean feat! It involved a lot of planning and great teamwork from everyone involved. We would like to take this opportunity to thank David Nejrup, Georgie Tinker and all the staff members from Home Lincoln who made this day possible.

The term ”clear the dance floor” really did take on a whole new meaning for Founder Lisa Templeman and our new Event Organiser Victoria Mann. Victoria is a new face to Lincolnshire Weddings and will be on hand at all future events. She definitely earnt her stripes moving furniture and helping distribute 6ft tables across three floors!

On arrival, suppliers worked relentlessly turning their section of the venue into the most magical spaces to explore. We were overwhelmed by how much effort each supplier had put into creating their stalls, especially those who were attending a wedding fair for the very first time.

We are huge fans of bridal fashion shows here at Lincolnshire Weddings. Home Lincoln’s unique space meant that investing in a Pyrotechnician for the day would allow us to take advantage of all the technology that was on offer and with a ready made stage, there was no reason not to put on a show! We just needed suppliers brave enough to take on the challenge! Que Gillian Austin from Bridal Reloved Caistor and Rebecca Comerford from Fallen Hero who orchestrated a beautiful fashion show which for everyone watching, transported us into bridal and menswear heaven. They needed a helping hand to achieve this with music by KS Music, venue styling by Stories of Style, hair and beauty by LC Makeup Artistry, Perfect Silhouette Hairdressing and Jade Clay Hair & Makeup Artist.
